Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancelling
Cancel any time from your dashboard: it takes two clicks and a confirmation, there is no exit fee, and you don't have to email anyone. Your instance keeps running until the end of the period you've already paid for; you keep everything you paid for. Changed your mind? Resume from the dashboard any time before the period ends: it's free and nothing is interrupted.
What happens to your data when you cancel
The timeline, exactly as the system runs it:
- Until your paid period ends: everything keeps working normally.
- Then, for 30 days: your instance is switched off but your data, passkeys and settings are held exactly as you left them. You can export a complete encrypted copy or reactivate (a fresh subscription; everything comes straight back).
- After the 30 days: your instance and health data are permanently deleted. A single encrypted operational archive survives at most 7 more days, then nothing remains except the billing records accounting law requires Stripe and us to keep.
Closing your account also offers an immediate-delete option that skips the wait and deletes everything straight away. It is genuinely immediate and genuinely irreversible; export first.
Refunds
Every refund is looked at by a human (there's only one of us, and he reads the emails). The ground rules:
- Change of mind: we don't refund the current month just because you've decided to stop, but cancelling means you're never charged again and you keep the service until the period ends.
- Our mistake: if you were charged when you shouldn't have been (a billing error, a double charge, a charge after you cancelled), tell us and we'll refund it in full: no argument.
- Something is properly broken: if the service has a major failure: it's down for an extended time or its core purpose doesn't work, and we can't fix it promptly, you're entitled to cancel and receive a refund for the affected time, or keep the service and pay proportionally less. That's not generosity; it's your right under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees, rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that they be provided with due care and skill and within a reasonable time.
How to ask
Email support@klebb.app from your account's email address with roughly what happened. Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5-10 business days of approval. Please talk to us before raising a dispute with your bank; it's faster for you and cheaper for everyone.
